It's Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!
Well it's been another busy week! I know I say that every week, but this time it's for different reasons. Monday and Tuesday were pretty normal. We had school like normal. On Tuesday is was sunny and in the 40s. That was unfortunately the calm before the storm. The actual storm. Starting very early Wednesday morning the snow started and didn't stop until we had a foot of snow on the ground and several snow days in a row. It felt so bizarre staying home the last few days. The roads were just too bad to go anywhere, so I cancelled me two tutoring appointments. We did unbury my car Wednesday afternoon because my daughter had to go check on a dog she watches, but that was the only place we went. The roads were awful! Being home not going anywhere, feels reminiscent of the first few days of the Covid shut down, but less stressful because this time I know it really is just for a few days. I have caught up on my sleep, and had time to write a few blog posts and work on my Etsy shop. The roads should now be clear, so I "might" venture out tomorrow.
Last weekend I shared the post Celebrating the Chinese New Year. While I do not celebrate it on a regular basis, we did enjoy Chinese food and are very excited that it is the Year of the Tiger. (Go Bengals!)
Mid week, while having our first snow day of the year so far, I shared my post How to celebrate a SNOW DAY. I shared some of the fun activities we used to do on snow days, and lots of snow themed recipes.
Earlier today I posted How to host a Super Bowl Party. My Bengals are going to the big game for the first time in 33 years. I am definitely invested in the outcome of the game this year. In my post I shared some decoration ideas and lots of great party recipes.
On my Etsy shop Dancing Unicorn by Pam, I have several printable classroom Valentines and treat bag toppers, and will be listing Love Coupons this weekend.
Were you affected by the massive storm this week. Let me know is the comments below.
Well it looks like it is time to get the party started. Link up and HAVE FUN!
Thanks Pam for hosting and good luck with the Super bowl and your team. My share this week is "Easy Vegan Valentine’s Day Recipe Roundup." Several of the recipes would work at a super bowl party as well. ENJOY!
ReplyDeleteThank you! We are not having a big party, but I am thinking of making a few recipes for the family this year.
DeleteThanks for the party. We keep hearing about all the snow back East. Stay safe & warm. Good luck in the Super Bowl. XO- MaryJo
ReplyDeleteI am in Michigan and we received a foot of snow between Wed and Thursday. We had three days of no school because the roads were so bad. We are lucky though, it was our first real snow storm on my side of the state. Somehow the snow kept missing us.
DeleteThanks for hosting the party - I found some great new blogs to follow. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the link-up.
