Sorry I am a little late with today's party.  Last night our internet was out, and today I am busy getting car insurance.  Later this week, I am getting a new to me car from some good friends of mine.  I have a high school friend that works at an insurance agency, and another good friend who has insurance through them. The only catch I had to go to my old hometown to get it set up which is a couple of hours away.  The internet was still down when I left, and this is my first chance get on my computer with working internet.    So let's get this party started!!

It is Friday night, and you know what that means... 

It is time to Dare to Share! 

Thank you for all your kind comments about my dad's passing.  I am currently with my family, and we will be having a service for him tomorrow.  Thankfully my dad lived some place nice and warm, because where I live is being hit by a pretty big snow storm at the moment.  I was not sure what to expect when I got here, but the last few hours have been a lot better than I thought they would be.

It is Saturday, and you know what that means..

I am sorry I am late posting this weekend.  I have a very good reason though.  I got word this morning that my dad had passed. He has been sick for a couple of months so it was it was not a complete shock, but still kind of a surprise.  It also happens to be the 2nd month anniversary of when my step dad passed.  I am doing okay, because I am still in the this does not feel real yet mode.  

It feels kind of weird saying my usual let's get this party started and have fun under the circumstances today. I do want to keep things as normal as possible though.

Happy New Year!!  Have you been unsure what day it was all week too? Having New Years Day and football on Wednesday I have been thinking it was Saturday for the last few days.  I also almost forgot today was Friday, and did forgot to post the party a few hours ago.   It will be back to reality again next week and waking up early once again.  After two weeks of sleeping in I am it will be a definite adjustment. 

Well it is time to get this party started.
