It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!
I know I have been pretty quiet on the blog the last few weeks. I have been very busy at work for the last couple of months. I also have some sad news to share. I don't think I posted it on a previous party, but in January we found out one of our kitties had a large tumor that was probably cancerous. Since he is on the older side (12-13), we decided against invasive treatments. We do not know exactly how old he is, since he is a rescue. Over the last two months we have been trying to keep him as comfortable as we can. We saw the vet a second time in February, and she told us then she did not think he had much longer. This past week was a hard one. He stopped eating and drinking on Sunday, and was very slow moving around. He had also lost a lot of weight in the past few weeks. We knew the time was very near. On Tuesday night, we thought he was going to pass on his own. My daughter made him a little nest of towels on our living room chair, and stayed close to him all night. In the morning when I went to go check on him, my daughter was asleep on the couch, but he was not there. I was afraid of where I might find him. He had gone back into my daughter's room where he could be alone. I was relieved to find him still alive, and looking at me when I entered the room. On the down side, I knew that meant I would have to make the call to the vet. We have been through this before, but it is never easy to make that call. We also did not want him want to be in pain. We have an amazing vet, and they are so wonderful with the animals and their humans as they say goodbye. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge Wednesday afternoon. We were all heartbroken, but we do understand this is something you have to go through when you have pets. His younger "sisters" are only 5 and 9, so hopefully we wont have to go through this again for awhile.

Now it is time to change the mood a bit, and start the party. It is hard to believe that St. Patrick's Day is this weekend, and Easter is already just around the corner. I am sure you all have some great Spring projects to share!
Link up and HAVE FUN!!
