It is time to Dare to Share!
Last weekend after being hamsterless for about a month, Kara finally talked her dad into allowing her to get a new hamster. Her name is Inka, and she is a black bear hamster.
On Mother's Day, I woke up to a smiley face breakfast of an omelet, bagel and strawberry smoothie.
On Monday and Tuesday we had a quite a bit of bad weather. As soon as my kids walked in the door after school on Monday we found out that we were under a tornado warning. We had to spend the next two hours in the basement because tornadic activity was seen on the radar, and two small tornadoes actually touched down in the area. I took this picture on Tuesday afternoon. A fast moving thunderstorm was heading our way just as the kids were getting out of school again. We were put under a severe thunderstorm warning. This time the kids were stuck at the school until the storm passed. Luckily this time it was only about 15 minutes.
Also this week a choir concert, an Art show and an all day women's conference today at my church.
With everything going on , I only manage to get one post up this week. If you live near a Kroger store, you found that they are no longer accepting double coupons. It is disappointing as a couponer, but I shared how coupons are still worth using.
I also shared some fabulous Features of the Day
I love banana splits, so I was thrilled to see this Banana Split Dessert by A Plate on My Table
Living Frugal with Erika shared 10 ways to score freebies for your garden
This Tree Trunk Birdhouse Planter by Cynthia Banessais a great way to bring a little nature in, and would also make a great gift.
Now it is time for this weeks party. You can pretty much link up anything that you would like to share. You are not require to follow to link up. but I would sure love it if you did. If you are chosen as a Dare to Share Feature of the Day, your post will be featured on the blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and G+.
Now link up and have fun!
Hope you're having a great weekend (no bad weather)!
