Polka Dot Bars - Feature of the Day
I don't know about you, but I crave chocolate quite frequently. When I saw the chocolate cookies with white chocolate chips by Peanut Life Adventures, I knew I wanted to know more about them. Her family gives the thumbs up for those cookies, including her mother-in-law. You can see the full recipe for her Polka Dot Bars here. Thanks so much for linking up to Dare to Share Danielle.
St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold
St. Patrick's Day will be here before we know it. I thought I would share one of my favorite St. Patrick's Day crafts from a few years ago, that will hopefully give you the luck of the Irish. I am going to show you how you can make your very own Pot of Gold.
It is actually not that difficult to make, but sure is a lot of fun. I recycled a cauldron from Halloween, and picked up a few items from the dollar store. You can see the full tutorial for this craft on this post here.

Homemade Pretzel Bites - Feature of the Day
Have you ever tried to make your own pretzels? I have not tried, but I have thought about it. The girls over at Lou Lou Girls shared a great recipe on how to make your own pretzel bites that would be great for almost any kind of party. Also being homemade, they would also be a healthier version to store bought options with a lot of added ingredients. You can see the full recipe on how to make this great party treat over at the Lou Lou Girls here. Thanks so much for linking up this great recipe to Dare to Share!

Homemade Pizza Buns
I took one look at the Pizza Buns posted by Jenn's Random Scraps, and knew that this was a recipe my family would love. I bet my soon to be 15 year old son would want to eat several at one sitting. I may just have to give him the recipe to get him back in the kitchen. You can see more of her post, including a recipe for Jenn's homemade pizza sauce on her blog Jenn's Random Scraps here. If you would like to see how to make a Packaging Tape Heart Vase of your own, be sure to stop by Wesen's-Art here. Thanks so much for linking up to Dare to Share!

Chocolate Cherry Fudge
Well the day is here. It's Valentine's Day. Are you still thinking of what to give to your sweetie? Early last month, on my contributor post on Your Modern Family, I shared this recipe for my favorite fudge. I thought it would make a great fudge to give as a gift for Valentine's Day. Conversation Heart Gift Box - Feature of the Day
It's hard to believe that Valentine's Day is just a couple of days away. Wasn't it just New Years Day a couple of days ago?? If you are giving a small gift, and would like a fun way to present it, then Crystal from Make it Easy Crafts has an idea for you. She shared how to make your own custom conversation heart gift boxes. I like that they are fun and colorful, and you can customize them with your favorite sayings. These boxes would be great to fill with candy, and then to give as gifts. You can see Crystal's full tutorial on her blog Make it Easy Crafts here. Frappe's Freedom
We had quite an ordeal at our house the last couple of days. I am happy to say, we had a happy ending. You can read the full story on my other blog, Surviving the Crazy Life. This will also explain why I have not had a chance to work on Lego party ideas this week. I think that with all the trouble with animals we have had in recent weeks, I definitely picked a fitting title for my other blog. :)

Chocolate Syrup Fudge Cake - Feature of the Day
After the last 24 hours I have had, I could definitely use some chocolate. You may have read on my Facebook Page that my daughter had one of her mice jump out of her hands last night. (not Lucky the baby) Frappe (a.k.a. mama mouse) has been on the loose since late yesterday afternoon. We almost caught her several times, but she would slip away at the last second. We set up a live trap last night before bed, and hoped we would see her this morning. No such luck. Kara thought she saw her earlier today, but we have seen seen her since. We are still on the search though, especially since we have three cats!
Now back to that chocolate. I don't know about you, but when I am stressed, a bit of chocolate hits the spot. I think this Chocolate Syrup Fudge Cake from The Velvet Moon Baker amazing, and wish I had a bit piece of it right now. You can see how Tash made this yummy looking cake on The Velvet Moon Baker blog here. Thanks so much for linking up to Dare to Share Tash!

Dare to Share #97
It's Friday night, and you know what time means.
It's time to Dare to Share!
How was your week?
I know I am beginning to sound like a broken record. We had more snow and super cold temperatures where I live this week. On Wednesday, the snow was my nemesis, and it almost won. My car was stuck in a snow bank for 3 hours, I had to walk through knee deep snow to get to my daughter, and the snow plow took out our garbage can. I wrote about that lovely day on my other blog Surviving the Crazy Life
Earlier in the week I shared a post about one of my favorite things to do.. shopping.. Did you know there are several Shopping Apps that Pay You to Shop. They really do! I have earned over $100 using these apps.
With the winter Olympics starting this week, I thought it would be a good time for a flashback post on How to Make Your Own Olympic Medals
Today my latest my latest post on Joyful Home and Life went live. I shared how to make Cinnamon Sugar Valentine Crackers.
Did you have a chance to see the fabulous Features of the Day this week.. First up was these Clay Pot Snowmen by Peanut Life Adventures
I really want to try these Strawberry Chocolate Chip cookies by Robyn's View
and if you want to feed your kids an alternative to more sweets, Laughing and Losing It shared a Healthy Valentine Snack.
Now it is time for this week's party. You can pretty much link up anything that you would like to share. You are not required to follow me to link up, but I would sure love it if you would. If you would like to make sure not to miss a post, consider signing up to follow by email. If you are chosen as a Dare to Share Feature of the Day you post will be shared on the blog. Homemade Olympic Medals
With the Olympics starting tomorrow, I thought it might be a good time to reshare a post I shared during the summer Olympics in 2012. We had a lot of fun making our own Olympic medals using items we found at the dollar store. This would be a lot of fun for kids as they may want to have their own Olympic games. You can see the full post at this link, Making Your Own Olympic Medals

Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies
I love the taste of strawberry and chocolate. When I saw these Strawberry Chocolate Chip Valentine Cookies by Robyn of Robyn's View, I knew I had to find out more. Clay Pot Snowman Craft
Even though I am very tired of snow this winter, and I never tired of cute snowmen crafts. This sweet snowman was made by Danielle of Peanut Life Adventures. They are not that difficult to make, so this would be a great craft for older kids. You can read more about the Clay Pot Snowman Craft and Peanut Life Adventures here.
