As much I dislike skipping holidays, this post by Paula of Beauty Through Imperfection on how to write an entertaining Christmas letter is actually quite timely. Now is the time to think about what you want to say. Thanksgiving is in just a few weeks, and the next two months are going to be a blur of activity. I personally LOVE receiving Christmas letters. I wrote one every year when my kids were younger. The last few years, I have been lucky just to get a card out, if at all. I also especially agree with Paula's tip #5! How many times have you been excited to receive a card from someone you have not heard from in awhile, only to be disappointed to find the entire card printed including their names, and not one bit of info on how they are doing.
