You are probably wondering what I mean by the title of this post. I am hoping to be tweaking my blog a bit in the upcoming weeks. Back in my day (mid 80s), we didn't learn about computers in high school. I had typing class on a typewriter! Gasp! They started computer classes in school a couple of years after I graduated. I had my first introduction to the computer in college. I took two computer language classes. Why? I really don't know. I can tell you that I learned absolutely nothing in those classes, and couldn't even tell you what the language I was supposed to learn was.. Is there something called Cobalt? I really do not remember. I got a C in both of the classes, because the student helper in computer lab would just write the programs for you if you had a question. Since I was so confused, I let him. They also graded on a curve, and everyone else was just as confused as I was. When I had my first job with a computer, it had a black screen and yellow type. My point of all that is, I am not the most computer literate person there is. I often ask my 15 and almost 13 year old for help when I have a computer question, because they often know more than I do. Since I would like to update my banner, graphics and more, and don't have the money to pay someone to do it for me, I am hoping to teach myself by reading Dummy books, and watching You-tube videos. We will see if I actually learn something about computers this time.
I also thought of two more series of posts that I plan on adding in the next few weeks. One will be called Countdown to Summer Slimdown. I am currently about 15 lbs more than I want to be, and I hope to lose the weight in the next few months. I am going to share my journey, because it will make me more accountable. If anyone else is having the same issue, I would love if you go on the journey with me. I am also noticing many things around the house that need to be updated, such as our banister that desperately needs painting. I am planing to do several posts called Spring Time Spruce Up.
Just one more thing. I LOVE linky parties, and I am finally jumping in with one of my own. I am hoping next weekend to launch Dare to Share Saturday. Blogging can often feel like you are sharing tips with your girlfriends, and that is the kind of feel I would love to have for my linky party. I hope you will join me then.
