We had to spend some time in the basement yesterday due to some nasty storms, and a tornado that struck a town in our area. While down there I had to move some items around because we will be getting some new to us furniture soon, and our treadmill will need to come down to the basement. Let's just say that the basement in our home is a scary place. (big unorganized mess!) There are a lot of old toys down there that I have not seen in awhile, especially since I avoid going in the basement.. Do you remember the Beanie Baby craze of the late 90s? Well I do. I still have several of those Beanie Babies from that time. General Mills made their own beanies out of their popular cereal characters several years ago and I got a set of them as well. (though I had forgotten about it) . Last night I came across Lucky, and the Trix rabbit while moving things in the basement. How fun is the timing of finding Lucky just in time for St. Patricks Day. I think I might do something fun with him tomorrow since the kids had so much fun with the Elf on the Shelf at Christmas.
