I Resolve...

The New Year always  gets people to think of resolutions, and I am no exception. I am one of the millions of people who set them and break them every year.  Occasionally though, I do keep a resolution that lasts. The trick is to set a realistic goal that is not open ended..  Instead of saying I want to lose weight, it could be I would like to lose 10 pounds.  Instead of saying I want to get more organized (I am guilty of this one!), it could be I want to organize my closet.  By making goals smaller, it will be easier to keep them. 

Last year I set the goal to post organization projects that I completed when my blog was on Weebly. While I started out strong, I only made it to project #5 before life got too busy to keep with it.  This year I still need to organize, but my goal is now to tackle a smaller project here and there when I can  and not on a set schedule.

Saving more money is also a goal that I would like to do in the new year.  This is one of the most set resolutions.  I actually kept this resolution in 2011 and want to continue it is 2012.   My coupons and coupon binder are usually unorganized.  I might not cut my coupons for a few weeks and then I have to play catch up.  While I am able to get a lot of great deals, I know I miss many because I forgot a coupon and it was not yet in my binder. (such as the Charmin yesterday).  My goal is to keep up with my coupon binder so I miss less deals. 

I also have a few goals that I have set for my blog in 2012.

Finally finish updating my link buttons.  I am in the process of updating my linky parties,  crafts, recipes and party pages and hope to have them completed soon.   

Post more crafts and recipes.  I have a long list of ideas that I want  to share

Use the schedule post feature.  I really thought I would have more time than I did over winter break to keep up with my blog.  There were days when I just was not able to get to the computer and post.   Hopefully in the new year you will not see a day go by that is post free. 

Host more giveaways.   I only had 2 or 3 this year and everyone loves a giveaway

Update my blog look.  I am not the most computer literate person, and I am learning as I go. We will see if this happens, but I hope so!
