Super Savings at Staples

This week at Staples they are having super deals Sunday-Wednesday.  A big savings tip of mine for school supplies is to buy them a little at a time when they are are their best prices.  If you buy them all at once right before school starts, you will definitely pay a lot more than you need to.  I have three school age kids who are now in higher grades (5th, 7th and 9th), and have a lot of supplies that I need to buy.   Shopping at Staples, Walgreens, Walmart and Target on sale, I save a lot of money. 

This summer Staples  has a savings deal that is too good to pass up if you have a lot of supplies to buy.  For a one time $10 fee, you will get 15% off all of your school purchases (even sale prices)   through Sept 17.   There are a few exclusions but it will more than pay for itself if you need backpacks, calculators, printer paper (single reams), binder and more.

According to the reciept, I saved $41.73 in sales and coupon total.     I spent $34.34  today but I am getting back the $9.68 in rebates and I will be reimbursed the remaining $5.93 from my savings card on my future purchases.    Final cost for $76.07 in school supplies is $18.73 a 75% savings.
