Two of our furballs looking outside, wishing the could see the big birdies. I think maybe they are checking out a bug since they are both looking down at something.

Lawn Ornament has a Family
Our unusual guest at the garage sale, aka Lawn Ornament, came back to my yard today. This time he was not alone. He brought his wife and 2 babies. In my 8 years of living here, I have seen the cranes many time, but this is the first time I have seen baby cranes. They did not mind us watching and taking pictures because we were a safe distance away. At first we watched from the deck and then quietly sat in the yard. Two other adult cranes flew overhead a couple of times and each time the adult cranes stood up and yelled to the flying cranes. I knew they were communicating something, I just wish I knew what they were saying.
