This is what we woke up to at our house today. Looking outside it sure does not feel like it is April 18. My youngest even started to cry when she saw it because she was worried about the birds being cold and the fact that her snow boots no longer fit. It is hard to go back to snow when we actually had 80 degrees temps just 8 days ago. Hopefully this will be short lived and we will back to spring as scheduled. As I am writing this, one of the schools called. They had no power or heat, so one of my kids has a surprise day off. What else will we be suprised with today?
Wow...that kind of stinks. It's okay to have that kind of weather in the midst of winter, but when you've had a taste of spring, and even summer...it really makes it hard. Hope the weather warms up and you were able to enjoy a play date with your kids today!
